The Jammu Kashmir family package includes 2 nights in Katra. Cab transfers to Banganga are provided from where families can head for the Vaishno Devi Darshan on foot/pony. From Katra, the Jammu and Kashmir tour itinerary takes you to the valleys of Pahalgam, Srinagar, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg. The days spent in Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg are left for leisure activities. These include a short excursion to Betaab Valley, Baisaran Valley, Aru Valley from Pahalgam, strawberry fields and Alpather Lake from Gulmarg, and Thajiwas Glacier and Manasbal from Sonamarg. Jammu, Katra: Leisure day in Katra

Begin your trip to Jammu and Kashmir with a leisure day in Katra. The Jammu Kashmir family package begins with a pick-up from the Jammu Tawi Railway Station. You will be taken to the hotel in Katra. Katra: Pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi Cave

Head for a religious tour of the holy Vaishno Devi cave and temple. Begin your second day in Katra with a delicious breakfast. Thereafter, you will be taken to Banganga. From here, you can head to the Vaishno Devi temple on foot or on pony-backs. After the darshan, head back to Banganga, Your private transfer will be waiting for you to drop you back to the Katra hotel. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the Katra hotel.

Pahalgam: A day to relax and unwind with the family

Pahalgam: Pahalgam optional tours

Take short optional excursions to the nearby valleys for a fun-filled day with the family. Have breakfast in the Pahalgam hotel. On this day of the Jammu Kashmir family tour package, you can take short excursions to the nearby valleys or spend a day at leisure. In the evening, you will be taken back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Optional: A short excursion to Betaab Valley, pony ride to Baisaran Valley, and river rafting in Aru Valley are the optional tours that you can take.

Pahalgam, Srinagar: Srinagar houseboat diaries

Move to the Dal Lake in Srinagar and spend time on the houseboat and Shikaras. Start the day with a delectable breakfast in the hotel. After checking out from the hotel, you will be taken for a 2 hours’ drive to the next destination of your Kashmir family package. The cab transfer will drop you at the jetty around Dal Lake in Srinagar. Here, you will find numerous houseboats that provide stay facilities. The Shikaras can also be availed from the jetty. After check-in and lunch at the houseboat, you will be taken for a Shikara ride to Nehru Park. After a relaxing day in the Dal Lake, retire back to the houseboat for dinner and overnight stay. Gulmarg: Day in the Meadows

Move on to Gulmarg for a leisure day in the meadows. Next destination on the Kashmir itinerary is Gulmarg. After breakfast and check-out, you will be taken to Gulmarg for a leisure day. Later in the day, you can visit the grand Mughal Gardens. Thereafter, head to the hotel in Srinagar for check-in. Enjoy dinner and night stay at the hotel. Srinagar: A day’s trip to Sonamarg - the Meadow of Gold

Spend an eventful day in the beautiful Sonamarg valley. Have breakfast in the hotel in Srinagar and head for a day’s excursion to Sonamarg. There are many optional activities to try in the Meadow of Gold. You will be transferred back to the hotel in Srinagar in the evening for dinner and night halt. Distance from Srinagar to Sonamarg: 80 km Travel time: 1 hour 45 minutes per side Optional: Watersports at Manasbal, pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, and a visit to temples of Khir-Bhawani and Narang are the optional activities families can indulge in.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please be informed due to transport Union in Jammu .Private cars are not allowed to enter Jammu railway station / airport premises. Client has to come out from Jammu railway station / airport by his own and our car will be half a kilometre away from the Jammu railway station / airport. Our driver / representative will coordinate with guest and will advice pick up point to the guest accordingly.

In Pahalgam: Sightseeing of Chandanwadi, Betaab Valley, Baisaran Valley and Aru Valley are not included. If one wishes to visit the same, they can hire a taxi directly at Pahalgam taxi on their own.

In Gulmarg: The vehicle is allowed to drop at main Gulmarg or at your hotel and from there onwards one has to walk or can go by ponies on direct payment for local sightseeing in Gulmarg.

In Sonmarg: The vehicle is allowed to drop at main Sonmarg and from there onwards one has to walk up to Thajwas or one can go by ponies on direct payment. (Route is closed during Heavy Snowfall)

In Katra : Sightseeing of Shiv khori is not included , if one wishes to visit the same it will at additional.
